Man, truth be told, as a kid, I dont think I liked any other intro as much as Postman Pat. In Dutch, I think they called it Pieter Post. The intro, compared to my favourite show MASK, wasnt all that spectacular, but it had such a relaxing song to it, so careless, no violence, no yelling, no shooting, just a guy, a cat and a cool looking van.

It’s up there with Thomas the Tank Engine (the original, with Ringo Starr) for intros.
I have now learned that Postman Pat was also shown in the Netherlands, the only people to respond so far are Dutch!

The lambretta would fit in the bed, excellent for when I need to do more than 30mph. Is it a Toyota Hiace? I’m not sure if we got it in the UK in pickup form.

If I recall correctly it was either a Mitsu or a Suzuki. Perfect for putting out fires in 1000 year old narrow streets.
